In the process of pump operation, the pressure inside the pump is changing at any time, when a part of the pressure lower than the minimum pressure of liquid gasification pump, it will automatically generate gas inside the pump. If this gas has been generated, will burst within the pump sound, so cavitation from the sensory point of view is very easy to judge.
Pump cavitation is generally operating and external conditions caused by the inappropriate, Lanshen group in the pump design and testing process, will also test the pump cavitation conditions. In general, the pump cavitation is caused by the following several reasons.
First, the suction pump is higher than the actual suction lift available. This can happen if the height of the pump is too high. Because the actual suction pump is too large, will lead to the pressure drop inside the pump is very low, it is prone to cavitation.
Second, the suction pump is too far. When pumping a liquid pump, if the suction process is too far away, may have some unforeseen resistance, the resistance will lead to the actual pump impeller to reduce the liquid pressure, resulting in the impeller below the spin nest, also produce cavitation.
Third, the pump water conditions are not stable. If the pump inlet pipe is curved, when the water, all parts of the flow rate is not the same. Differences in flow rate can lead to differences in liquid pressure, if the local pressure is too low, cavitation occurs.
Fourth, the use of local air pressure is too low. If the pump installed in the high altitude areas of the plateau, the pump inlet pressure will be reduced, but also prone to cavitation.
