The sludge deposited on the bottom is scraped to a set of sucking tube arranged along the radius direction and let out through the sludge conduct so as that the sludge can flow back and can be dehydrated. In addition, the machine can also skim the scum on the surface of the liquied.

ZBXN series sludge suckers are new generation of those designed based on the imported equipment. They have been granted the patent of practical utility model (Patent number: ZL 97 2 370003.X). They have the following characteristic: 1.Simple structure, light weight. Because of the semi-bridge adopted, there is only one driver and main beam is used as sludge transmitting channel. They are much lighter than those of full-bridge which are used widely in domestic field. 2.Operating fares are saved and maintenance work is easy. Because the siphon pipe transmit the sludge to the central sludge pipe through central sludge trough and there is no moving sealing, the short-circuit of the clean liquid is prevented. Power consumption is saved and of the concentration of the sludge backflow is ensured. It is good for the process of the biochemistry. In addition, there is no maintenance work of the moving sealing. 3.New type of driver. Reducer, the key part of the driver is the advanced shaft mounted. Unnecessary aligning the centreline, easy to install, compact structure, high efficiency and low weight. 4.With over-torque protector. In case that the torque reaches the setting value, the machine shall automatically stop and send alarm signal to ensure safety and reliability.
STRUCTURE AND OPERATION PRINCIPLE
ZBXN series sludge sucker is of periphery driver siphon type. As shown in diagram 1, it is composed of main beam or sludge transmitting channel, sucking pipes, siphon system, central sludge trough, central rotating bearing, driver, sludge skimmer, electrical collector, controlpanel, etc.The driver mounted on the periphery shall drive the main beam to rotate around the central axis. Sludge scraper shall scrape the sludge deposited on the bottom to sucking mouth. Effected by the level differential, sludge shall be let out to the sludge pit through sucking mouth, transmitting channel, siphon pipe, central sludge trough and central sludge pipe. There are regulators on every sucking pipe to regulate the flow of the sucking pipe. In addition, the scum on the surface shall be concentrated to the area formed by the skimmer rotating with the main beam and the sludge weir. When the skimming arm gets the sludge bucket, the scraper on the skimming arm shall scrape sludge to the sludge bucket or basket.
